Mathew Peet with a big RR engine at Duxford

I currently work in the Russo Laboratory at the MRC-LMB where I'm working to improve the physical limits to electron imaging in biology.

I also still have some association with the phase transformations and complex properties research group in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge. I previously worked there developing blast and ballistic resistant weldable steels, developing high strength steels, and improving the understanding of steels and how to design them.

I have previously worked in the Cambridge University Rolls-Royce UTC, also at the University of Cambridge, Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy.
